There are quite a few books I have been meaning to read for a while now, considering I am behind on my 2019 reading challenge. I want to put this out there to hopefully push myself to get moving on the stack of unread books I have and to show what I have been looking forward to reading for the end of the year.

1. Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey Mcquiston

Red, White & Royal Blue- Casey Mcquiston

I have heard so many great things about this book over the past few months. I recently added it to my TBR after the recommendations to read this book were everywhere. From what I have heard this is an adult romance story that follows the son of the US president and the Prince of Wales as their relationship develops. It seems funny, adorable, and extremely charming. It also has amazing reviews form many authors I follow, I can't wait to read it.

2. Find Me by Andre Aciman

Find Me- Andre Aciman

Once I realized there was a sequel coming out for Call Me by Your Name, I knew I had to read it. I absolutely loved the first novel to this series as well as the movie. I can't wait to see what surprises the second book holds. In this book Elio and Oliver are once again finding each other. It takes place 20 years after where we left off in Call Me by Your Name. I am so excited for this book to come out so I can read it ASAP.

3. Frankly In Love- David Yoon

Frankly in Love- David Yoon

For those who don't know this is David Yoon's debut novel, he also happens to be the husband of best selling author Nicola Yoon. Who you may know from Everything, Everything or The Sun Is Also A Star, which I loved. I heard that this was going to be coming out and thought it could go one of two ways every one would love it or every one would hate it. It seems that every one has been loving this book which makes me so excited to try and read it also. It follows a boy named Frank who's parents have set in stone that he is to date Korean girl, however, he has found himself falling for a white girl in his class. He plans to fake date a Korean girl to make his parents happy while also dating the girl he really wants to. Sounds like a perfect end of year read to me!

4. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

The Book Thief- Markus Zusak

This book is one that has been on my TBR for years now. I have been putting it off for a long time due to all the hype surrounding it but it doesn't seem to be fading. I have also heard that the audio book is phenomenal so I think I may give that a try. This book is extremely unique because it is narrated from the POV of death. It takes place around the time of WWII and follows Liesel while she finds comfort in stealing books to share them with others, while her family is hosting a jewish refugee in their basement. I can't wait to pick this one up I am hoping to get to it over Thanksgiving Break.

5. Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness

Chaos Walking trilogy- Patrick Ness

Although this is not a standalone novel, it is still a series I have been wanting to get to. I love the writing style of Patrick Ness as I have mentioned his other novel "A Monster Calls" previously. This book series will also be coming out as a TV series. This series is set in a dystopian world where everyone can hear each others thoughts through images. This sounds like it could be a great series and I'm ready to start it as soon as I can.

These are some books that I have been really looking forward to reading for a while. I'm hoping to finish most of these before the end of this year to also shorten my list of books to read since I'm always five books behind my reading schedule. Hopefully you were able to find a book that seems interesting to you through this list.
